Event Highlights

Physical Spaces

In collaboration with SMU Libraries and Student Accessibility Support (SAS), explore how the spaces around us can shape our mental wellbeing.

Discover what you need in the moment - calm, focus or energy - and learn how small changes to your surroundings can help you reset, recharge and feel more grounded.

Create spaces that support your mind, mood and wellbeing.

A for ACTIVITY

Activity

In collaboration with the Student Council of Discipline (SCD), discover how movement can support both your body and mind.

Move with intention to release stress, lift your mood and recharge. Even small moments of movement can help restore balance, clear your mind and support your overall mental wellbeing.

C for CHILL

Chill

In collaboration with the SMU Students’ Association (SMUSA), discover the importance of slowing down and making space for meaningful rest.

Take a moment to reflect on how you rest, discover the type of reset you need, and try simple ways to support emotional balance, recovery and mental wellbeing. Leave with one small rest habit you can bring into your everyday life.

E for EAT WELL

Eat Well

In collaboration with the Student Care Officers (SCO), explore the connection between food, emotions and everyday wellbeing.

Rather than labelling foods as “good” or “bad”, reflect on what shapes your food choices - from physical needs and nourishment to emotions, enjoyment, habits and social experiences. Build greater awareness of your eating choices and discover a more mindful, balanced approach to food and wellbeing.
